“Stop going through life,
Start growing through life.”
Through this debut book, the author highlights the importance of not avoiding challenges and difficulties of the world to feel peaceful, happy, and content but navigating through them to reach the type of life one wants to live.
The author conveyed the secret of a balanced life by the example of a car. Just as car balances on four wheels, we must balance the four crucial areas of our life – personal life, relationships, work-life and social contribution. We need to align the wheels based on our external levels. Our attitude is like the air in the tyres of the car. If the tyres of the car are not at the correct pressure, there can be a puncture stopping us from getting to our destination. The external tenets of balance are adjustment and alignment while the internal ones are attitude and values. It is equally important to balance the steering wheel – our spirituality. It brings purpose to our lives and gives us a destination worth going to. The steering wheel comprises of four things – our spiritual practice, the association that we keep, our character, and our service to God and others. And when all these aspects are well-monitored we can drive the car of our life towards its destination.
I’ll recommend this book to all who are looking at strengthening their relationships, discovering their true potential, understanding how to do well at work, or how to give back to this world. This book will surely help you align yourself with the life you want to live.
