Body shaming : Subjugation of Life

(Too thin, too fat, too tall, too short, too milky, too dusky, too much of everything, too much of body shaming. living in a society of narrowly constructed beauty standards what comes to you naturally have always been bullied, unless and until you fit into the that constructive model of the society irrespective of your mental and physical health.)

There goes the Kardashian’s walking down the red carpet and the world is in awe

Then proceeds the fairness creams tripping around the TV screen making your jaw drop

The ladies on the magazine shouts “look at me”

The aunties in the neighbourhood howls “look at them”

The boy in the class says “fatty with brain”

The girl on my back desk says “make yourself  drain”

The nutritionist says “follow a diet”

The dietitian says “starve your obesity out”

Mom says “make yourself fit into those clothes”

Dad says “try fitting into the standards of the society”

Gulping down a morsel of food, letting the constructed beauty standards screw

Shoving the dreams of mine into miseries, shaming pushed my whole existence into theatrics,
